Berlin – under the motto “40 years – 40.000 fans,†the aid agency, Doctors Without Borders launched an online initiative to attract more supporters. On the site www.mein-profil-fuer-msf.net , Facebook users can sign up and for 24 hours they can promote the organization’s activity on their wall.
The overall goal is to make your Facebook friends more aware of the activity of Doctors Without Borders and to contribute with further attention about information regarding the people in need. The campaign aims to bring 40.000 fans to the German Facebook page of the organization as a present for its 40th anniversary.
12 doctors and journalists founded in December 1971, Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders. They wanted to implement regardless of political constraints, neutral and impartial medical aid to all people. Since then the organization grew steadily, founded 19 sections and is now active in around 60 countries.
